German-Swiss communications consultancy CCounselors continues to grow: Jan-Peter Schwartz and Oliver Zilcher appointed as new partners

Jan-Peter Schwartz is an experienced communications consultant with proven expertise in technology, energy, transformation and cross-sector reputation management. At CCounselors, he supports companies in particular with complex change, strategy and dialogue processes.

Through his previous work as a partner at Brunswick Group and his earlier roles as Head of Communications at Osram Licht AG and in management positions at Siemens and RWE AG, he brings extensive experience in global communications, investor relations, brand management and strategic positioning. He began his career as a business journalist and later became Head of Business News at WDR.

With over 30 years of experience in communications, Jan-Peter Schwartz combines a deep understanding of economic interrelationships with the ability to strategically manage transformation processes and translate them convincingly for key stakeholders.

Oliver Zilcher has extensive expertise in strategic communications management, which he has built up over two decades in leading positions in the finance, insurance and consulting industries. Before joining CCounselors, Zilcher worked as Director of Marketing & Communications at PwC Germany & PwC Europe and as Head of Global Corporate Communications at ERGO Group AG, among other positions. Prior to that, he was responsible for corporate communications & public affairs at TARGOBANK (formerly Citibank) for many years and was managing director of the foundation of the same name.

Through his academic work as Professor of Communication and PR at IU International University, he also combines profound theoretical knowledge with practical application. His core competencies lie in strategy and change communication, stakeholder management, C-level positioning & thought leadership, and crisis and reputation management.
